AZ Damiaan
Since the merger in 1999, General Hospital AZ Damiaan had dreamed of combining all its activities on a single campus in Oostende in Belgium. That dream came true when the completely new hospital in the Gouwelozestraat opened its doors to patients. BIS was responsible for equipping and furnishing three rooms in the new building. The hospital wanted a highly sustainable and reliable audiovisual system, modern facilities and intuitive controls. These requirements were the main points of departure for both BIS and AZ Damiaan. Bird Recovery Centre in Zundert
The Bird Recovery Centre Zundert Foundation (Stichting Vogelrevalidatiecentrum Zundert or VRC) is a shelter and care centre for injured birds and birds that have been confiscated from illegal traders by the authorities. The birds can be of native or exotic varieties. In addition, the centre also offers shelter to native mammals that require medical and other assistance, such as hinds, hedgehogs and reptiles. The recovery centre’s activities span the entire Dutch province of Noord-Brabant. Read more

Belasting & Douane Museum in Rotterdam
The Belasting & Douane Museum is housed in two historical buildings characterised by a multitude of different halls and rooms located on three different storeys. During the opening event, so many people had been invited that the hall where the official opening was due to take place could not accommodate all of the guests. In order to ensure that everybody could follow and experience the opening ceremony, BIS installed several 55” (140 cm) LED screens in the entrance hall and the museum coffee shop. These screens offer perfectly image quality and, thanks to special stands, were installed at a height that made the displayed images clearly visible for everybody. Read more

SBO St. Joseph in Eindhoven is a unique venue for meetings, training courses, workshops, lunches, celebrations, seminars, symposia, concerts, film showings and exhibitions. St. Joseph is housed in a former monastery chapel built in 1952, which was completely renovated in 2011 to create a reflection and meeting centre. The audiovisual furnishing of the council chamber of the Municipality of Voeren needed urgent updating. There was no coherence in the AV material and it no longer offered the required audiovisual options needed today for a professional meeting. In order to make the council chamber more user-friendly, the Municipality of Voeren decided to cooperate with BIS.
